Featuring Wildlife & Landscapes

Mark’s interest in photography began in high school. He took detailed notes of the photography process : shutter speed, exposure, light, etc.; but did not pursue photography at that time. His interest in the printing process came when he met famous wildlife artist, Les Kouba. Mark was intrigued at the process of printing original art onto paper, which led to his degree in Graphic Communications and Color Separation, a very specialized degree. In 1993, Mark founded his own graphics company; a move in 2005, took him to Walker, Minnesota, to enjoy the beauty of nature. On a particular trip to Walker, Mark shot a photo of a pair of swans on Shingobee Bay of Leech Lake; it was his mother’s favorite photo. Mark’s mother was his inspiration and she encouraged him to pursue his love of photography when, in 2008, he concentrated on photography full-time and the rest is history!

Mark is a National Award Winning Photographer from the Gull Lake area and is considered to be one of the elite photographers of today. He is a Print Master, spending over three decades in the High End Imaging and Fine Art industries. He meticulously produces all of his giclee art “in-house” one photography at a time. Canvases take up to 3 weeks to produce and paper prints take up to 2 weeks; a somewhat lengthy process, with perfection; these pieces are True Museum quality prints and canvases that are guaranteed to last for generations.
